At least 5 hurt in 9-vehicle wreck in Temple

TEMPLE, Texas (AP) - At least five people have been hurt in a nine-vehicle wreck on Interstate 35 in Central Texas.

Temple police are trying to determine what sparked the pileup late Sunday afternoon on northbound I-35.

Authorities say five people suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening and were transported to hospitals. Their names and further details on their injuries weren't immediately released.

Police reopened the roadway Sunday night.
