Man already jailed now held on capital murder

A San Antonio man already in custody for shooting a store clerk last week and then barricading himself inside an apartment is now charged with capital murder for a slaying more than two weeks ago. Bexar County Sheriff's authorities say 19-year-old Cameo Marcus Clines has confessed to the June 18 robbery and shooting death of 20-year-old Xavier Cordero. A 19-year-old woman, Antoinette Martinez, also is charged with capital murder in the same case. Sheriff's deputies tell the San Antonio Express-News that Martinez lured Cordero to her apartment for sex, then was confronted with a gun and robbed. She and Clines threw him in the trunk of his car and drove to a cow pasture where Cordero was shot several times.
