Offshore tech company moves headquarters from Florida to Austin

SoftServe Inc., an offshore software development firm with a growing presence in Eastern Europe, is moving its headquarters from Florida to Austin to be closer to its customer base here.  Founded in 1993 in Lviv, Ukraine by two postgraduates of Lviv Polytechnic University, SoftServe has 3,000 employees at 15 software development centers in the Ukraine and Bulgaria. It is planning a new development center this year in Slovakia or Romania.
