Perry expected to announce activation of Texas troops to border

Governor Rick Perry is expected to announce he'll be sending more security to the Mexico border. According to Senator Juan Hinojosa, he will be activating the Texas National Guard for duty there. According to the McAllen Monitor, he will call up about a thousand troops. The Governor continues his criticism for the lack of federal support at the border. President Obama has pledged more than 3 billion dollars in support at the border.
