Rep. Rodriguez promotes bill to expand Missions

U.S. Rep. Ciro Rodriguez was at Mission San Jose on Friday to promote a bill he is sponsoring that, if passed, would fund a study to expand the San Antonio Missions Historical Park and the creation of a new visitor center.
House Resolution 4438 was voted out of the House Natural Resource Committee last week and is now headed for the House floor. The federal study for the expansion of the park to include more historic sites would be similar to one currently being undertaken by Bexar County.
