Travis County prosecutors gear up for a showdown with State Representative Dawnna Dukes.

Travis County District Attorney Margaret Moore's office says they'll present evidence that Dukes was not fit for office and wasted thousands of taxpayers dollars while on the clock. The Statesman reports Dukes spent fifty-one thousand dollars on psychics. She reportedly was absent for sixty-five percent of the roll calls in the House and when she did show up, sometimes it would be under the influence of drugs. Dukes is charges with 13 counts of tampering with government records and two counts of abuse of official capacity.
