Wendy Davis pressing attack on Greg Abbott during Dallas stop, GOP nominee swings back
Democratic nominee for governor Wendy Davis on Thursday brought her “Texans deserve to Know” tour to South Dallas, telling residents that rival Greg Abbott is more concerned with protecting his campaign donors that looking out for Texas residents.
For weeks now, Davis has been slamming Abbott, the attorney general and GOP nominee for governor, for his ruling that allowed chemical companies to keep secret the contents of the facilities.
“Greg Abbott has made a decision that their families should no longer have the right to know where dangerous chemicals are being stored,” Davis said at her campaign office in South Dallas. “He’s done it almost simultaneously with the receipt of large campaign contributions from Koch industries and the use of their private plane.”
