Jawbone identified

Bastrop County law enforcement now knows the identity of a jawbone that was found along the Colorado River in July. The jawbone belonged to Jonathon Hamilton, who was from Houston but was last seen in Bastrop in 2015. Bastrop County Sheriff Maurice Cook says a search of the area came up with no other bones. He says that complicates the investigation.

In 2015 he had been reported missing from his home in Houston, but Bastrop police had talked to him a couple of days before his parents reported him missing again because they couldn’t find him in Bastrop.
