Texas low on lung cancer screening list

When it comes to lung cancer screenings, Texas ranks 45th in the nation, according to the American Lung Association’s latest “State of Lung Cancer” report.  The state is ranked 45th out of all 50 states.  Joanna Strother with the American Lung Association says part of the problem is that it’s usually not a priority health concern for most people.

She says fewer than two-percent of Texans at high-risk are getting screened.
