Leander ISD cancels all its sports camps

The LEANDER school district cancels all contact sports and extracurricular camps.

LISD officials say they decided on this after they shifted all its classes to online only between August 13th and September 7th. They want this to be temporary but note they are hoping to learn more about what can be done from the UIL leadership which is slated to meet today about the fall sports semester. The district hopes to reopen their campuses September 8th.
