Arson investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire overnight in South Austin.
According to the Austin Fire Department, a home on Delcrest, near South Lamar and Oltorf, caught fire while the owner was away.
Six pets inside of the home were killed in the blaze. Those animals are said to be three cats, two dogs, and one parrot.
Delcrest update, fire under control. Occupant has been accounted for and was not home at the time of fire. Unfortunately 6 pets perished in the fire. 1 adult displaced and cause is under investigation.
