BASTROP COUNTY:

Six people have died in Bastrop County since March due to complications from COVID-19. Bastrop County health officials say 453 cases are still active and 156 people have made recoveries. The City of Elgin has consistently seen the highest number of confirmed cases, with 131 as of Monday morning. However, the unincorporated areas of Bastrop County have seen 288 cases, which is more than the cities of Elgin, Bastrop, and Smithville combined.

 

CALDWELL COUNTY:

The latest figures from Caldwell County show 315 active cases of COVID-19, including one person who is receiving treatment inside of a hospital. Two have died since March but 77 have recovered. The highest concentration of Caldwell County’s cases can be found in Lockhart, Luling, and Dale.

 

HAYS COUNTY:

Of the nearly 11-thousand coronavirus tests administered in Hays County since March, 3050 have come back as positive, and as of this morning the number of active cases stands at 2549. Of those, 18 are hospitalized. Seven people have died but about 500 have recovered.

 

TRAVIS COUNTY:

446 people are in a Travis County hospital on this Monday morning for issues related to COVID-19. In the past few months, a total of 11,679 cases have been discovered, 137 of which have resulted in death. As has been the case all along though, the number of people making recoveries continues to soar as well, now up to 8460.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY:

It’s not clear what Williamson County’s latest coronavirus numbers look like for Monday. The county has been shifting data to a new system, which has made the public data unavailable. But 1390 cases were active in the most recent tally from Friday. At least 42 people have died, and as many as 1000 or more may now be classified as recoveries when the new data is unveiled.
