Senior Austin Police Officer Anthony “Tony” Martin, who died from his injuries sustained in a tragic crash, will be remembered and honored on Monday, October 3, 2022, during a public visitation and funeral service.
Officer Martin began his career with the Austin Police Department as a Cadet with the 112th Cadet Class on September 18, 2006, and was commissioned as an Officer on April 27, 2007. Martin retired after 20 years from the United States Air Force before joining the Austin Police Department. His service with the Austin Police Department included Patrol, DWI Unit, and Motors.
Officer Martin is survived by his parents, wife, three children, and one granddaughter.
