The heavy rains overnight brought with it some flooding issues and high water rescues across Austin, many of them in South Austin. So far, no injuries have been reported. One involved a homeless encampment along North Bluff where a 40-year-old man was swept into the water, but was rescued by Austin Police and then fled the scene. The others at the encampment were evacuated. Some areas in South Austin saw over six inches of rain overnight.
