Williamson County Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles was joined by Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell and others on Wednesday to celebrate the completion of improvements to the Williamson County Expo Center.

The arena was widened to 125 feet by 300 feet to better serve event holders and enhance overall safety by adding more space. Box seating has been added to the arena. This increased the overall seating capacity by approximately 250 seats to 3,250 seats. The design was done by Parkill.

“Williamson county has a deep heritage in agriculture and investing in the Expo Center allows us to have events that honor that heritage like rodeos, events for farmers and the community as a whole,” said Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles. “It serves an amazing public purpose, and I look forward to the many continued events at the facility.”

The projects were funded with voter-approved 2019 Park Bonds.

Additionally, the breezeway that collapsed during the winter storm in February of 2021 has been replaced. The roof replacement was designed by Ceco Building Systems and was paid for by an insurance claim.
