The weekend snow has caused a number of Central Texas schools to call off their operations for Monday.  While some districts are shifting to an all-virtual classroom setting, others are modifying class schedules to begin later in the morning.  The Austin Independent School District will conduct all of its classes as scheduled, however no students will attend class on-campus for Monday.  Instead, all classes will be offered virtually.

Districts calling for a full closure today include:

  • Del Valle
  • Eanes
  • Elgin
  • Georgetown
  • Hays
  • Hutto
  • Jarrell
  • Lago Vista
  • Lake Travis
  • Leander
  • Manor
  • Pflugerville
  • Round Rock
  • Taylor

Districts operating on a two-hour delayed schedule include:

  • Bastrop
  • Dripping Springs
  • Lockhart
  • Luling
  • Smithville
  • Wimberley

Similar to the Austin Independent School District, IDEA Public Schools and The Austin School for the Performing and Visual Arts will conduct all classes virtually.
