No Ticket? No Problem! ABIA May Allow Non-ticketed Visitors

The Austin Airport Advisory Commission discussed a proposal for Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to allow non-ticketed visitors
If the proposal is approved, the visitors would have to go through the same security procedures as the ticketed passengers
Visitors could come to the airport to eat, drink, shop, watch the planes take off or meet or say goodbye to families/friends at the gate
They could enjoy some local fare at the airport as well as local eateries like Hut’s Hamburgers, Salt Lick Barbecue, Amy’s Ice Creams, JuiceLand and more have locations there
The changes have not been approved yet with no timeline on the decision being announced
