• AISD School Board heard recommendations last night on how to fix their budget

• State Representative Donna Howard speaks about funding public education by possibly proposing a state income tax

• TECH NEWS:

- A company has released a machine called Breadbot that can make a hot loaf of bread every 6 minutes from scratch

-Kroger and Microsoft have teamed up to open pilot stores where consumers can use apps to help them find better deals

-NASA is working on a project that will test hurling a spacecraft into an asteroid to have a better idea of how to combat a possibility of an asteroid hitting Earth

• The Texas State legislature is back in session today

• Austin City Council swore in new members

 

Hour three of the Todd and Don Show:

• President Trump to address the nation tonight on the border wall and the government shutdown

• Amazon cashierless stores are doing very well and are projected to increase the amount of stores available

 

Hour four of the Todd and Don Show:

• Golden Globes ratings showed 18.6 million viewers

• Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez proposed taxing the wealthy as high as 70% to fund a climate change plan she's pushing called the "Green New Deal."
