Hour one of the Todd and Don Show:  

• VIRAL VIDEO: the Heerlein family in Northwest Austin put up a display paying homage to the scene from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation where Clark Griswold hangs from the roof of his house while trying to put up Christmas lights which scared a passerby to call 911

• About two dozen teachers showed up to the Nov. 26 meeting of the Austin Independent School District Board of Trustees to voice their concerns about a proposal floated by the district that would reduce the teacher-to-student ratio in middle schools and high schools

• Todd & Don challenge each other to try something new. Todd challenged Don to try sushi for the first time in years and Don challenged Todd to try a peanut butter and mustard sandwich


Hour two of the Todd and Don Show:

• The South Austin location of Threadgill’s shut its doors this past weekend

• TECH NEWS:

-NASA is looking to continue to work on the moon but looking to the private sector to help

• Austin police officials have formed a task force to address the conclusions of an audit that found the Police Department could do a better job interacting with people who are mentally ill


Hour three of the Todd and Don Show:

• Phrases featuring meat such as “bring home the bacon” and “grab the bull by the horns” will die out as people try to avoid offending vegans, a university researcher has said

• James Comey has agreed to speak with Congress privately

• The Wall Street Journal says Austin’s City Council’s spending on budgets is unnecessary


Hour four of the Todd and Don Show:

• The Round Rock City Council will vote on an ordinance that would extend serving hours to 2 a.m. for all restaurants and bars in the city limits

• Faith Cox, a woman who falsely accused a man of assaulting her will be charged for filing a false report

• Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has denied sexual misconduct allegations levied against him and said he welcomes an investigation by Fox and NatGeo
