Jeff Ward:


Jeff Ward took over the afternoon drive-time show at 590 KLBJ in 1997.  Since then, the show's ratings have gone from 16th in the Austin market, to consistently being one of the three highest rated shows among all formats with his show often winning the coveted afternoon slot.

The show has been featured on ABC News' "Best Of" program, he has been a panelist on the nationally syndicated program "Beyond the Beltway," and the Austin Chronicle has voted him "Best Afternoon Host" five times.

In addition to his radio program, Jeff is also a Lecturer at The University of Texas teaching Advertising and Marketing Management, as well as a Board Member and consultant for an Austin-based software company. 

He has earned multiple degrees from The University of Texas and has been nominated as an "Outstanding Young Texas-Ex." While a student at Texas, he was a football team captain, a member of the Athletics Director's Academic Honor Roll, a three-time All-Conference player, a two-time All-American, and he still holds the NCAA record for game-winning field goals with 10.



Ed Clements:


Born in 1955 to Ferris (Poochie) and Janie Clements, Ed Clements was raised in Brownwood, a small, central-Texas town located two hours west of Austin, Texas. Ed has two sisters and two brothers.

Worked in Midland, Texas for ten years as a radio broadcaster for KCRS Radio.

In 1990, Ed moved to Austin to begin working for KLBJ Radio. Ed has remained with KLBJ ever since. Currently is a co-host on NewsRadio KLBJ's Sports Saturday with The Fifteenth Club from 4 PM - 5 PM and The End Zone from 6 PM - 7 PM.

Ed is involved with several organizations in Austin. He is a past board member of the American Heart Association, Junior League of Austin and currently serves as a board member of the Capitol of Texas Alzheimer's Association. Ed is known as one of the leading MC's for corporate, charity and political events. Clements was the MC for President George W. Bush for both inaugural parades and a Presidential dinner in January 2005.

Clements also works closely with Austin golf, working with two time Masters champion Ben Crenshaw and volunteering for the First Tee of Austin.

First major acting was in 'Friday Night Lights' (TV Series). Ed appeared in 5 episodes.
