Austin fire crews spent part of the morning in the storm drain tunnels off of Riverside Drive and Willow Creek. They say several homeless people had been living in the tunnels and a fire broke out, burning mattresses and other debris inside the tunnels. No one was injured and there weren’t any people inside the tunnels when fire crews arrived.
