Atmos Energy still unsure what caused an underground gas leak

Atmos Energy is working to make sure a major gas leak that affected homes and businesses for several weeks never happens again.

Atmos is investing more than $8-billion into their system over the next five years, but as for that gas leak back in February, Director of Public Affairs Randy Hartford said it's still anyone's guess why it happened...

Hartford also said their current gas detection technology is state-of-the-art, but it was not enough to stay ahead of that leak.  One business is still affected by an evacuation.

Atmos still doesn't know what caused that gas leak.
