Austin City Council to vote on boosting funding legal services for illegal immigrants

The Austin City Council is expected to approve an extension of funding for American Gateways to continue providing taxpayer-funded legal services for illegal immigrants.  A council resolution calls for an increase of $150,000 per year, which also includes deportation defense.
