Austin Fire Department considering all options for new station

The Austin Fire Department has been considering adding a new station in Sunset Valley, but according to interim chief Thomas Dodds, AFD is no longer interested in pursuing the area.  Instead, Dodds said the department is considering a site fully within the Austin city limits, although he has not given specifics.

Even so, Dodds said the site they're considering would still lower response times within Sunset Valley.
