Austin police warn car burglaries on the rise

The Austin Police department is warning they're seeing an uptick in the number of Car Burglaries. By the numbers in March of 2018 there were 220 auto thefts and there were 227 just last month. Officials believe the primary reason for the increase are drivers not locking their doors, giving criminals more opportunity.
