Beer to-go will be signed into law tomorrow

Craft brewers in Texas have dreamed of the day when they could sell their beers-to-go to customers who visit their breweries.

Tomorrow morning Governor Greg Abbott will be in southeast Austin to sign the beer-to-go bill. The signing ceremony will take place at Austin Beerworks.

Abbott said that HB 1545 allows craft breweries to sell beer to go in the state and reduces burdensome regulations on the beer and wine industry.
