Body recovered from Lake Travis has been identified

Lake Travis claimed the life of a Cedar Park man over the weekend. 46-year-old Juan Maldonado was identified as the victim. Witnesses say Maldonado, who was not wearing a life jacket was in distress in the water and went under Saturday evening. They pulled him onto their boat. Rescuers arrived moments later and took Maldonado and unsuccessfully performed CPR.

He is the fourth to die in Lake Travis this year. Two other missing swimmers have not been found.
