August 1st marked the two-year anniversary of Texas’ campus carry law taking effect. Since then it has remained controversial, but as Michael Newbern with Students for Concealed Carry points out, the fears of many of the law’s critics have never become a reality.
There’s still a debate over allowing guns into classrooms at the University of Texas and currently the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals is considering whether or not three professors’ arguments against guns has any merit.
