The patrol division of the Cedar Park Police Department is being added to an independent review of the department.  That review was initially ordered for the investigative unit because of the Greg Kelley case.  The City Council ordered the expansion of the review during Thursday's meeting following a discussion in executive session.

Kelley remains out of prison awaiting an appeal of his case.  There have been questions raised about the investigation that led to him being convicted of sexually assaulting a child at a Cedar Park day care.
