CodeNEXT closer to ballot

The city has certified that there are enough signatures on a petition to force a November vote on CodeNEXT.

"We hope very soon they will vote to just let it be placed on the ballot in November," said Linda Curtis with IndyAustin.

Curtis said the vote this November will not be on the plan directly, only to give Austinites the chance to review and vote on whatever the City Council ultimately passes.
