Meechial Criner trial continues as more testimony is heard

DAY3 

More testimony Tuesday in the capital murder trial of Meechial Criner who’s accused of raping and strangling UT freshman Haruka Weiser. The jury saw autopsy photos of Weiser who was beaten badly about the head and lips, according to the Statesman. There was a computer with violent pornography that was found on a tablet computer in Criner’s Lifeworks room where he was staying before his arrest that could be introduced into evidence.


DAY2

Testimony continues in the capital murder trial of Meechial Criner, accused of sexually assaulting and killing UT Freshman Haruka Weiser in 2016. The Statesman reports APD CSI specialists testified of blood stains on boulders along Waller Creek where her body was found.

Glasses found at the crime scene were the same prescription’s as Criner’s. An APD detective said a Macbook with a Portland sticker, like Weiser had, was found in Criner’s possession.
