Del Valle ISD Approves Full-Time Employees Pay Raises

The Del Valle ISD Board of Trustees approved full-time employees pay raises at the Board Meeting on Tuesday, April 16.

The Board of Trustees approved a new District minimum wage of $15 for full-time positions.  The Board also approved increasing the bus driver minimum wage to $16 per hour. Both increases go into effect in the 2019-2020 academic school year.

Also in the April Board Meeting, the Board approved the superintendent’s recommendation of a 3{6d294a0824f6f808f1cc9dcde10d35acd237638cfa4e8dd876851c8906eac7a1} of mid-point raise, in addition to any compensation mandated by the State legislature, for each DVISD employee for the 2019-2020 academic school year. The Board of Trustees also approved increasing the bilingual teacher stipend to $4,500, which goes into effect in 2019-2020 academic school year.

District.”
