Like many Central Texas residents, you may not be happy with your latest property appraisals, but real estate attorney Rahul Patel says an idea being floated to eliminate appraisal district’s isn’t the answer.
He says the idea would be to use home sale prices, but he says in some markets sale prices are growing faster than appraisal values. That could lead to larger tax bills.
