Governor Abbott’s Texas Safety Commission has first meeting behind closed doors
Making Texas safe in the wake of the El Paso shooting is the goal of Governor Abbott’s Safety Commission, which met today for the first time. The 27 members of the Governor’s commission include law makers, law enforcement, representatives of Social media, and Gun rights and Gun Control advocates.
Outside the State Capitol Gun Rights and Gun Control advocates clashed.
Abbott said the goal is to open up all avenues and let the facts take them wherever.
