Michael Center has been let go for his alleged role in the scandal in which he's reported to have take a $100,000 cash bribe in return for giving a student a spot on the team.

Abbott said he expects every university to take a good hard look at their admissions policies, and add safeguards where necessary.

Michael Center was arrested Tuesday posted a $50,000 bond.  He's now due in court in Boston later this month, and his attorney says he will plead not guilty.

Center plans to plead not guilty.
