High court hears census case

judge hammers a gavel

The U.S. Supreme Court hears arguments today on whether a citizenship question should be included on next year’s census form. Texas A&M Professor Dudly Poston says the concern is that many people here illegally, and even some legal migrants, will skip the census if that question is included.

That could cost the state another seat in Congress and billions in federal dollars.
