Hundreds Lose Power in Bastrop County

Hundreds of people in Bastrop County woke up in the dark on Monday morning.  According to the Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, a car crashed into a power pole, knocking out power for about 870 of its members.

According to Bluebonnet officials, crews have managed to temporary restore the power to all affected members.  However, repairs are still being made to the power pole, which means there may still be imtermittent outages until the fix is complete.
