Man involved in crash tried to bribe an officer

A man who was involved in the chain-reaction crash Sunday tried to bribe an Austin Police officer. The Statesman reports 19-year-old Marc Samudio, who was riding in a car driven by Heliodoro Arias-Flores, tried to offer a cop $20 to let him go. He was charged with bribery. The driver, who blew past emergency vehicles slamming into a jeep was charged with intoxication assault.
