For the first time in more than 50 years, the Boys and Girls Club of Austin has broke ground for a new club building.

Club CEO Misti Potter says once they open early next year, kids and teens from all over the area can enjoy what they have to offer.

Potter says there will also be an area where kids can start to learn trade skills, go through college prep courses and outside, plenty of space to play.
