A new piece of evidence in the Rachel Cooke disappearance rolled into Williamson County.

Sheriff Robert Chody said a white Trans- Am was seen soon after Cooke’s disappearance and now they have a one matching that description. Chody explained, what makes this car special is it has connections to 3-4 people of interest in the case.

The Sheriff admitted this peice of evidence could break the case but would not make any promises, and added, its not the only lead they are following.

As FBI and Cold Case investigators began to process the car, Chody reported it was found in the Dallas area and credited the find to a tip. He hopes anyone with a possible lead into the Cooke case will come forward, call 1-800-225-5324, or go to www.tips.fbi.gov
