We’re learning more about the new rules governing dockless scooters in Austin came out this week.
The Austin Transportation Department finalized those rules with the City Clerk’s office. Parking Enterprise Manager Jason Redfern says the rules have nine sections.
They also cover where scooters can be used, how many each company can have and more. Rules regarding rider behavior will be considered next year.
