The chase eventually came to an end at the intersection of Spicewood Springs and Mesa Drive after an officer's patrol car hit the front-end of a black Mazda that was being chased.

At least one shot was fired by an officer and the driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

No officers were reportedly injured.
