Parks officials worry about Barton Springs traffic

Austin's Parks Department is concerned about the rapid rise in the number of people who visit Barton Springs each year.  By next year, officials estimate more than 1-million people will take a dip in the water, impacting water quality and staffing levels.  The department wants to devise a plan to avoid a similar issue at Hamilton Pool in which Travis County was forced to impose a reservation system to limit the number of swimmers.
