Pflugerville City Council will consider a revised budget next week

Council is still hashing out the next years budget, and a $278,000 Capital Metro allocation remains a sticking point.  Council member Jeff Marsh said he understands many people rely on public transit, but he thinks a different approach, such as a ridesharing voucher program, would be far more cost effective.

Marsh has requested that be lowered to $128,000, and instead create a door-to-door ridesharing voucher program.

Council hopes to finalize and vote on that budget next week.
