The Extended hours program has been given the full green light, now bars and clubs can play amplified music till 11 Thursday nights and on Fridays and Saturdays, till 1 in the morning.. Both Businesses and Neighborhood reps say this is a great step forward, as talks are still set to continue.

For months, the city, Red River's entertainment district and area neighbors have been working on a happy middle ground on how long amplified music can be played. Stubbs BBQ's Ryan Garret says this will be a big boon to local businesses and others.
