This week, the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce delivered its annual State of the Chamber address.  This year’s address was given by new president Jason Ball, who said the state of the Chamber is strong in 2019.

“We had nine project announcements in 2019 with 468 new jobs announced and more than $30 million that we are investing in our community,” Ball said.

Along with the creation of hundreds of new jobs, Ball said 508 jobs were retained in Round Rock, and $31-million in capital investments were made.

Looking ahead to the new year, Ball said the focus will be on small business growth, educational strategies, and talent development.

“We have selected our 2020 theme #TomorrowTogether to recognize that economic growth involves and benefits all in Round Rock. We invite the community to join us in these efforts,” he said.
