If Beto O'Rourke runs for President that might actually benefit Texas Republicans says UT's Texas Political Project Director Jim Henson. That's because O'Rourke would have a harder time winning a presidential run that he would taking on John Cornyn in 2020 for the U.S. Senate. Henson says more Democrats would turn out in 2020 than they did in 2018.

O'Rourke says he'll decide on a presidential run by the end of the month.
