SXSW big economic impact

Not only does South By Southwest rain money on the city of Austin but it helps to solidify Austin's brand among the tech and other business communities that participate in the ten-day conferences and festivals.

Greyhill Advisors' Ben Loftsgaarden says the economic impact to Austin of this year's South By Southwest was up over five million dollars to just under $356 million dollars.
