DPS troopers said Dustin Daugherty was behind the wheel of a stolen car who led them on a chase through neighborhoods near Rundberg. Daugherty reportedly rammed into the trooper’s car, prompting the trooper to open fire and wound him. And not far from that, APD Chief Brian Manley said two officers opened fire on a man suspected of several armed robberies, including one moments before at a convenience store.
That man, who hasn’t been identified was shot with rounds from AR-15 rifles. Both survived and are in the hospital. Daugherty is facing at least four different charges.
