UT professors took a yearlong look at Austin's Gentrification problem

By there count 58 Austin neighborhoods are either already effected by gentrification or are susceptible. UT Law Prof. Heather Way said one way they've seen this addressed is by building up a database of affordable and low income homes.

Ways says Austinis losing about 750 low-income tax credit properties, and to replace them would cost tens of millions of dollars.
